This has been one interesting start to the weekend. Was asked yesterday by a friend for some help that I just didn't know how to respond to, and today received some news that broke my heart and made me lose some respect for another friend. Love being me.

Oh well off to bed, Sunday morning breakfast followed by work. (Yeah I'm scheduled 2nd shift on a Sunday, GRRRrrrr!!!!) So now I am doing the anti snow/ice dance, because I want to be able to come home tomorrow night to Abigail after my shift, but am thinking that it might be safer to just stay at the hotel and let the dog fend for herself...

Completely random I'm sure, but I think that they need to rename the Blues to the Greys. Honestly, Blue makes me happy, and warm feeling. (I seriously buy Blue food when I am in a good mood) Right now the weather is Grey and cold, which makes me sad.

I want to thank my friend Theresa for the link, I posted something close to this last year on Facebook and got fussed at. The truth is it shouldn't matter how the word is spelled, it doesn't change the meaning of what the day should represent. And btw, wouldn't have even been in December. (But that is another rant all together!)

There will be more on this subject, I just have to organize my thoughts enough to put it out here. (Might take a while, hahaha)

I got really cool news last night and while I was really looking forward to auditioning for the Spring show, I think I can get over my disappointment. Starting this spring I will officially be on payroll for Stage Managing SCC productions. Woot, getting paid for Theater!!

Broken Radio

So far, today has been a good day. I'm off from work, so I've just been lazily hanging out with Abigail. Tonight is our Wet Tech/1st dress rehearsal, followed by a bonfire out at J.j.'s Can't wait to see everyone in costume, am really hoping that my lovelies took this week off to look at their lines. LoL. Next week is the run of the show. Hope everyone comes out to see it!! The play is called School for Scandal, and it will be at the SCC Stoner Theater next Thursday, Friday and Satday nights. Tickets are now on sale.

Well I haven't been completely lazy today, dishes and laundry were done.
Hours of Eureka 3.5 were watched and a friend decided that I inspired him to co-adventure another blog with me. This new blog is called Broken Radio in my Head, because I'm always facebooking videos of random music that I've got stuck in the broken mind radio. Hmmm, where to begin? I got a dog, J broke up with me, got a new place, still at the Inn, Monster died, Stage Managing another play. That about sums up the past year.

Life at the Inn

Where to begin...so much has changed since the last time I actually posted anything. I'm 36 to start... I got married, I got divorced, I moved back home and am now living with my boyfriend in Bronston in a trailer next door to my brother and his family. I quit working as a Para-educator and worked as a call center phone person at Presidium Learning working with the Blackboard system. I absolutely fucking hated that job, (it gave me panic attacks). I quit that after 4 months, then was unemployed for 2 months and have been working at Hampton Inn in Somerset since then. I'm the 1st shift desk clerk but for the past 4 months I've also been the weekend Night Audit. That means for 4 months I've worked 1st shift 3 days a week and on the weekend I've been pulling 3rd shift. Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind 3rd shift, but pulling both shifts has been killing me. Tonight I'm training my night replacement and officially go back to 1sts next week. WooHoo!!!!

Life's been a roller coaster ride. I'll try to keep up with this now...
